The classic Garibaldi Neve traverse from Diamond Head to the Garibaldi Lake trailhead.  This trip will leave on Friday night with a moonlight ski to Elfin Lakes hut.  This schedule might allow time for some yo-yo skiing on the Sentinel Glacier on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Required skills:

• Strong skiing ability -- including comfort in tight trees on the hiking trail descent
• Prior overnight ski touring experience
• Strong fitness
• AST-1 avalanche course or equivalent
• Glacier travel and crevasse rescue training or experience

Required equipment:

• Avalanche transceiver
• Shovel
• Probe
• Harness and basic crevasse rescue gear
