2 days. 1200 m up, 15 km in total.
A classic trip to Keith's hut (no booking needed, by donation). Setting off from Vancouver on Saturday early morning. Skin up to the hut (6 km, 400 m up), get some rest and ski around like Vantage ridge or Motel66. Sunday early start, up to Anniversary glacier - awesome ski run! (800 m straight up from the hut). See how we feel and maybe go for more. Come back to Vancouver in the evening.
We will assess avalanche danger on the spot and may choose an alternative.
Splitboarders welcome, like me. Pace moderate. I heard 2 weeks ago that there was no wood left in the hut. Don't have an update, so recommend taking a warm sleeping bag. Tenting at the hut possible, if anyone prefers.
I can take 2-3 people. In case of broken car window (not very likely but unfortunately it happens), all passengers and driver share the cost (~$150 pp).
