If the weather and conditions are right, take 3 days to traverse the Garibaldi Neve. 2 days would be enough, but that requires extra good fitness and hard work! I have no interest in this traverse without views so if the weather isn't right, we will head to a hut on the Duffey. Glacier travel skills and crevasse rescue skills and equipment required. Good fitness a must. Day 1: shuttle cars, then ski in to Elfin Lakes, or farther up Ring Creek if a 2 day trip. Day 2: traverse the Neve. Camp at Sentinel Bay. Day 3: ski out over the lake if it is well frozen, or via Mt. Price if questionable. I can fit 4 people in my car in a pinch (for the shuttle).
