Snowshoers are not forgotten! Here is your chance to do the AST-1 avalanche safety course. Highly recommended for anyone who is planning to get out in the backcountry in the winter time. It will be offered by the Canada West Mountaineering School and will take place over the third weekend of January.

This is for snowshoers only!  A minimum of 8 participants is required or the course will be cancelled.

Both days will be held at Mt Seymour (4h classroom theory + 12h field practice).

Special BCMC group price: $180 / person (HST included).

Requirements for the course:

- Have a good fitness level.

- Beacons, probes and shovels and snowshoes

You will need to bring your own gear. If you need to rent there are a couple of options, and feel free to contact me.

Payments will have to be recieved by Friday, December 10th, 2010.
