Next Sunday looks to be a nice set-up for good snow and great views if it holds.
This is a great day trip to test a few different kinds of terrain. Early morning border crossing and drive to the ski resort parking lot. We skin right from the lot up to artist point and the route finding fun starts from there. We will have a short skin back to the car after descending from the Herman saddle.
Bring passport!

The meeting spot in Vancouver is the intersection of North Grandview and Penticton Street in East Van. Note that North Grandview is north of Grandview Highway across the railway and Skytrain tracks.
