Snow conditions & how the group are feeling will determine our route. Preliminary plan is to skin up to Red Heather hut & on to Round Mountain, then do some laps. Distance/climb will depending on what we choose, but may be approx 15km & 900m.

We will be going at a reasonable pace. Everyone must be confident skiing black runs, tree skiing in any snow conditions and visibility, fluent in avalanche precautions and rescues. This is not your first backcountry ski trip or two. Bring beacon/shovel/probe & 10 essentials. 

Chains are required for the road, though we may be able to coordinate carpooling. Meet at the Diamond Head parking lot/trailhead, ready to go at 8:45am. Allow time for chaining up.
