Four day trip will be from either Thursday evening or Friday morning, Thanksgiving weekend, returning Monday evening.
There used to be an established trail from the head of the Elaho Valley to the 100 Lakes Plateau, but the two bridges across major creeks washed out years ago. I am hopeful that this time of year it will be possible to cross the two creeks as the water level should be low. Will need to take a rope for potential use in crossing these creeks. Most of the trail is in old growth forest, so hopefully not terribly overgrown. Navigation should be interesting...
This is a trip only for fit, experienced hikers, used to coastal bushwhacking, and scrambling. Hoping to have two nights camping up on the plateau, which is a very scenic area to explore.
