This trip is open to all but those registered in the BCMC Pilot Training program may see benefit in this trip. I'm registered in the pre-season ski touring program and I will use this trip as one of my workouts. Go at your own pace. This is not a guided trip. I will be staying in "Zone 2" training which means I will keep my heart rate low and not be in aerobic training / red lining mode. I will go at the same, consistent speed with minimal/short breaks. You're welcome to go fast or slow. We can split into groups of similar speed. I will download on the gondola.
Meet in front of the gondola at 8 am, hike up using Sea to Summit trail, and for those who wish to enjoy coffee/tea at the top. Everyone is welcome - bring your family, friends, and dogs! I will be bringing my dog. Dogs are allowed to download on the gondola. You're welcome to hike down or hike higher to Sky Pilot area. Orange shirts, party shirts, and fun costumes are all welcome!
