We will fly into Watersprite Lake from the helicopter landing near the dam site, which is about a ten-minute walk from the Watersprite Lake parking lot at 8:00 am on Tuesday. We will then walk down from the cabin to start brush-cutting the trail from the top end. We will have two gas-powered brush cutters to cut alder and willow along the trail back toward the parking lot. Likely we will start cutting around ten and finish at four. We will have a couple of people using rakes to remove the cuttings from the trail and will rotate our jobs as we go along. This is a great way to give back to the community of trail users and make a lot of people happy, or think of it as cross-training. Please note that Brian will already be at the Watersprite cabin, so I will meet you at the cabin and will not be on the flight in.
