We will fly firewood (and us and personal gear) into the Watersprite cabin on Saturday and spend the night at the cabin. Saturday dinner will be provided. On Sunday you can explore the area before hiking out or stick around for another day of exploration.
Details: On Saturday we will meet at the Blackmount Logging log sort on the shores of Howe Sound just north of Murrin Park where we will put firewood into large, tarp like, bags which will then be loaded on a truck to be driven up to the Watersprite parking lot. From the parking lot, the bags of firewood will be flown into the Watersprite cabin. Once at the cabin, we will unload the bags and stack the firewood under the cabin. It will probably take us about two hours to load the wood and two hours to unload. We should have the work completed by Saturday evening. Dinner at the cabin will be provided and we have the cabin booked for our group for Saturday night. On Sunday you can check out the area and then hike out, or if you want to spend another night, you can book the campsite for Sunday night (note that we do not have the cabin booked for Sunday night) and then walk out Monday. No particular skills are needed but do bring a pair of gloves.
