We'll drive to Manning on Saturday morning, hike the Skyline I trail from the Lightning Lakes trailhead and camp. On the following day we'll hike to Snow Camp Mountain and hike down to Strawberry Flats, completing the "loop" (we'll leave one car at Strawberry Flats). We'll drive back to Vancouver on Sunday late afternoon.

This classic hike covers a total ~20km and we'll do it on the first 2 days of the long weekend. The speed will be slow to moderate. There's no water up there at this time of the year, so we'll have to carry our own. Please follow the Leave no Trace principles especially with respect to bear-safe food storage. We'll only go if the weather is reasonably good so we can enjoy the wonderful views of Hozomeen and other mountains and lakes from the ridge.
