Sigurd Peak is a long and steep hike with significant elevation gain located near Squamish . Although the all trails shows the distance to be 15 km but its actually around 20 km. I did this hike last summer in the beginning of July and was able to hike to the summit without spikes. There is no technical climbing involved other than the fun scramble while approaching the summit.
Distance : 20 km(approx.)
Elevation gain: 2,023 m
On moderate pace we should be able to the hike in 10 to 11 hrs. Thus, good fitness is a must to attempt this hike. It's a long hike with some false peaks on way up and feels never ending on the way back.
Gear Requirement
Hiking boots (required)
