[I'm looking for consistent climbing partners for July and Aug as I'll be off work. Prefer very early morning starts. Send me a pm if interested in climbing a ton! (Sport, trad, and/or multipitch) ]

*Although the more experienced members will probably be willing to share their knowledge, this is NOT a climbing course. You should know basic trad climbing skills, how to lead belay in a safe manner outdoors, and setup/clean anchors.

The goal 

I'm hoping to climb in the 5.10 range but I will choose a crag that has easier or harder climbs as well depending on the group's ability. Feel free to lead or top rope. Should at least know how to lead belay safely outdoors and setup/clean anchors. I'm thinking somewhere in the 5.9-5.11 range. Maybe jump around to a couple different crags. Will accept participants in even pairs to ensure we have a even number of climbers. Carpool in one or two cars. Location will most likely be smoke bluffs.

Trip will be canceled if weather shows 40 percent chance or greater of precipitation.

Gear

 Harness, rock shoes, chalk bag, and belay device, personal anchor system, anchor material, rope, alpine draws, and trad gear. We will split gear at carpool location. 

Shared gear will be discussed in trip planner forum.

 Food/Drinks

Bring enough food and water for ~5 hours at the crag.

Time

We will meet at St David’s Church (1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver, BC V7S 1N5) at 3:20pm. Expect to return at the church by ~9:30 pm. We will carpool at this location. Please pitch in for gas for driver. We will only wait 10min before departing. 

If you want to meet in Squamish, we will be at the location (most likely smoke bluffs) at ~4pm.
