Let's meet at George Wainborn Park at 5:30 for a crevasse rescue dry practice.  Will be a short 1.5 hrs practice where we can try to time ourselves, try different scenarios or just try to remember how to do the basics. There is free parking next to the park and some benches we can use as anchors next to a ledge we can suspend some weighted bags from.  

This practice is not an instructional program and participants are expected to be familiar with crevasse rescue, but if you plan to take a course and would like to get a head start and familiarize yourself with the gear you are welcome to come. 

Bring all the usual gear for crevasse rescue and please clearly mark your gear.  

Preference given to those planning to attend the BCMC summer camp, optional dinner after to talk about trip planning for the camp but all participant welcome to come.
