This will be an exploratory trip to see if we can ascend Martin Peak (to the west of Watersprite) via the SE.  We will use an unused logging road as an approach.  Therefore you will need a pack that can carry skis (maybe one hour?) to the snow.  (It is that time of year).   It may rain or snow so rainwear would be a good idea.   

This will be a steady paced moderate to moderately fast paced trip that will probably be about 8 hours.  At times the path may be a bit steep or bushy.

We can also consider going to Seed peak instead.   We will need a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle for both.   (I have neither)
