Whistler Backcountry: Phalanx Mountain (day trip)

Touring Objective

Phalanx Mountain with skiing on Spearhead Glacier

Access via Showcase T-Bar. Touring objective tbd depending on local conditions, skiing out towards Blackcomb Glacier Road. (Round trip around Phalanx Mountain with skiing on Spearhead Glacier).

Required Ski and Mountaineering Skill Level

You need to be fit to ascend and ski about 1,500 meters (elevation gain / day).

Drive to Whistler

Leaving North Vancouver Victoria Park at 5:30 a.m.

St Davids church 5:45 a.m. 

Parking lot ETA Whistler parking lot 6

7:30 a.m.

Return to North Vancouver

ETA 8 pm

Carpool

I can give 3 people a ride, including equipment.
