We will fly into the Lizzie Creek Cabin with a prefabricated outhouse and set that in place. The hole has already been dug. Other work includes cutting firewood, leveling some tent pads and general cabin maintenance. On the trip out we will do some brushing work on the trail. There will be at least one full day to hike, and one full day of work. Hiking in the area offers numerous peaks to scramble and spectacular lakes, alpine meadows and tarns. Be prepared to carry a full load on the way out, and spend a few hours with the brushing crew cutting alder on the access road. The trail head is located about 15 km down the InShuk FSR on a good quality gravel road along Lillooet Lake, about 30 km from Pemberton. The last 2 km of the road requires an AWD vehicle. If you want to walk in, the trail is about 15 km long with a 1400 m elevation gain and takes about six hours. Arrangements can be made to fly in some of your gear. We can only fly five people, but there is lots of room for those who wish to hike. The leader will decide who can fly based on their experience. There is an option to stay longer for those who would like to explore the area more.
