We will go to the Woodstock area in Murrin Park. Woodstock has an excellent collection of steep yet friendly novice sport climbs. The crag faces southeast, thus it gets substantial sun, making it a perfect crag for this time of the year. The weather forecast is warm and dry for this Sunday.

This event is beginner-friendly, but you should know how to top-rope belay to join and have your own climbing shoes, harness, and helmet. The total number of people who can attend will depend on the number of ropes we get (max 3 people per rope).

What to bring

4. Belay device.
5. Food and snacks.
6. At least 2 litre of water.
7. Rope (optional).
8. Quickdraws and anchor material (optional).

Carpooling
We will meet at St David's United Church to organize carpooling at 9:00am. The recommended payment for carpooling is $20 for the round trip. If you'd like to meet us in Squamish directly, please let the organizer know in case we decide to go to another crag.
