Rainbow Mountain (day trip)

Touring Objective

Rainbow Mountain

Parking Whistler Olympic Park, skinning up towards Hanging Lake, then towards Rainbow Lake. From there, towards Rainbow Mountain.

Required Ski and Mountaineering Skill Level

You need to be fit to ascend and ski about 1,500 - 2,000 meters (elevation gain / day).

April 13, 2024 (day trip)

Drive to Whistler

Leaving North Vancouver Victoria Park at 5:00 a.m.

St Davids church 5:10 a.m. 

ETA Parking Lot

6:45 a.m.

We might have to park outside of the Whistler Olympic Park and walk towards the trailhead.

Start skinning 7:00 a.m.

Return to North Vancouver

ETA 8-9 pm

Carpool

I can give 3 people a ride, including equipment.
