Inspired by Neil's trip, posting to align with the Monday holiday and availability
Let's celebrate Canada Day by invading our neighbours and summitting one of their most celebrated mountains, then defiling this sacred peak with our politeness.
Mt Adams stands a proud 3,743 m tall, second in the state only to Mount Rainier. Proposing the non-technical route (the south spur) however consider this a mountaineering trip, so be well-equipped, researched, and prepared. Excellent fitness is a given.
Proposing leaving Friday afternoon or possibly Saturday morning. Will firm up details as we near and after a group conference call to discuss logistics. Zoom will be held sometime in May or June however feel free to use the forum in the meantime if you have suggestions.
