Let's do the first outdoors rock climbing of the season in Chek Canyon! The weather forecast is dry and warm for this Sunday. We will climb the Electric Avenue crag. This crag is one of the best crags in the area, offering a wide variety of climbs from very beginning to advanced.

This event is beginner-friendly, but you should know how to belay to join, and have your own climbing shoes, harness, and helmet. The total number of people who can attend will depend on the number of ropes we get (max 3 people per rope).

What to bring

1. Climbing shoes.
2. Harness.
3. Helmet.
4. Belay device.
5. Food and snacks.
6. At least 2 litre of water.
7. Rope (optional).
8. Quickdraws and anchor material (optional).

Carpooling
We will meet at St David's United Church to organize carpooling at 8:15am. The recommended payment for carpooling is $20 for the round trip. If you like to meet us in Squamish directly, please let the organizer know in case we decide to go to another crag.
