An after work rip from upper parking lot to Red Heather shelter. We will drive to upper lot. We will ski to hut and possibly up to the ridge depending on groups interest and conditions. We will warm up in the hut with hot drinks. (We can make tea on the propane stove in the hut. I'll bring a pot.) You should have a bright headlamp and avi gear. If you dont have avi gear let me know. Bring helmet. Beginner friendly trip. We can shuttle from university to reduce on fuel if we like. We will meet at the old Quest university soccer field parking lot at 630pm and can carpool from there. 

Great beginner night trip. We will likely have some drinks and snacks at the hut and relax before departing. 

If anyone is coming from Van you could try arranging a carpool on the planning forum.

With so much powder, we could consider skiing out "The Secret Route."
