In November 2019, BCMC members Momo Xiang, Steve Pollak and Wayne Pattern travelled to Yangshuo; the most popular rock-climbing destination in China.

Yangshuo has something for everyone. There are juggy beginners’ routes, a vast array of 5.8 to 5.10 routes to test your mettle, and famous rock climbers such as Todd Skinner (first 5.13) and Chris Sharma (5.14b) have set even harder routes. Not to mention a vibrant nightlife in the provincial capital.
