This is a trip in early season conditions(!!!), at 1500m it should be enough snow to cover most of the rocks, BUT don't bring your best skis.

The FSR portion requires 4x4 and chains(I can take 3 more in my car). I expect to drive to around 1100m(trailhead is at 1400m)

Depending on the visibility we might not go all the way to the ridge, but stop somewhere early on.

I expect to be back at the cars at 2pm as I don't like to drive in the dark on FSRs.

Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier(can do black runs in any conditions, including trees) in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:) 

Minimum of 10 backcountry skiing trips under you belt are mandatory to join this trip.

Will be moving at a moderate/fast pace.

MUST have :

AST1 training
Shovel, probe and avi beacon

Food and water for the whole day
First aid kit!
Ski Helmet
