Hello,
This has been on my radar ever since we did Skihist Mountain. This is a very remote peak and rarely if ever sees summits. It is the second highest peak in SWBC. To my knowledge the last known ascent of this peak was in 2007 ( I could be wrong).
Pending the logging road is clear from the Summer 2023 rock slide I would like to get a group of 3-4 fit BCMC members to venture of North Kwioek Creek and travel the airy ridge all the way to Winter Mountain and then drop into the Petlushkwohap col. The trip would be 3 days in all likelihood, fast and light style. If time permits we can explore other objectives in this wild and remote area.
I am open to suggestions and alternative routes/peaks in the area. Its defiantly a fun objective and a beautiful.
area. This is a beast of a trip, it will take some effort to organize and the approach and climb are a grueling ordeal so I've heard.
