A late afternoon hike near midwinter's day, to see the sun set and full moon rise from the top of Siyám Smánit aka the Stawamus Chief. Followed by dinner in Squamish or on the north shore. We'll leave West Vancouver in early afternoon, and start hiking by 14:30. Moonrise and sunset are both at about 16:30.
Dependent on it being a clear afternoon, or nearly so. Not much fun if you can't see any celestial wonders.
It could be anything from a wet hike to icy and cold. Be prepared!
