A double peak located in the northern part of the Chehalis Group at the heads of  Tipella and Trethaway creeks. The first ascent was done in an unseasonably warm February via snowshoes (1978). There was not another ascent till much later, although several notably experienced mountaineers had given up in the face of tortuous alder bushwacking (hence the need to go in spring).

Planning for the spring and this seemed like a good project.  A bit of a pie in the sky project but seems do-able.  Registration opens Nov 1st.

Looking for partner(s) 3 maximum ideally the team will have:   a 4x4 truck and driver, confident route-finding and navigation skills, avalanche AST-1 training and the avi gear, and enthusiasm and contribution to help plan the trip. Flakes and no shows need not apply.
