The plan is to hike Alouette mountain then on our way down hike up Evan’s peak.
The trail is steep and challenging with an elevation gain of 1180 meter in less then 5 km. For Alouette mountain, there is a short easy scramble, but Evan’s peak has two short class 3 scramble that has some exposure. The pace will be moderate with short breaks and lunch at the top of Alouette mountain.
Bring 10 essentials, including head lamp.
Follow the trip forum as we approach the trip date, so we can organize carpooling.
Hoping to start hiking at around 8:00 am.
Distance: ~12 km
Elevation Gain: ~1300 m
Estimated Hiking Time: ~8 hrs.
