I am planning a 4 day trip starting Thursday September 14-17 weather permitting to this remote area accessing it from the Phelix Creek road. The plan is to backpack to the area east of Shadowfax on Thursday, move camp to the North Lakes from Talleifer and ascend it. The next day explore the ridges towards Prospector Summits and return to camp. Last day we come out and back. This trip involves a lot of off-trail walking in talus with minimal scrambles, route finding and steep ascents and descents without technical climbing. I have been up to Talleifer, but not to Prospector. It is a rarely visited area that is beautiful. Pace will be moderate and route finding collaborative. I have a 4WD that can carry 3 people besides me. I plan to drive up to Whistler on Wednesday, can spend the night in my apartment or come early am on Thursday and share the drive from Whistler.
