This trip is only open to BCMC Mentorship Program participants. Preference will be given to mentees of the organizer (mentor). The organizer can open this trip to other mentees/mentors if needed.

We will review the fundamentals of lead belaying, building and cleaning anchors, rappel techniques and managing risk.

Our goal is to ensure that all participants climb in a safe and friendly environment.

Bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.

 Required Climbing Gear:

• Helmet
• Harness
• Climbing shoes
• Belay device
• Locking carabiners
• Personal Anchor System (PAS) or sling
• Anchor building material
• Prusik

 Additional Climbing Gear:

• Rope
• Quickdraws
