Meeting location: Grouse Grind / BCMC traihead

We will hike the Taint trail to the top of Grouse Lodge. Plan is to download on the gondola (tickets $20).  Option to hike down only IF you have a second person to hike down with you.

Pace will be moderate: expect the hike up to take around 1.5hrs hours not including download from the lodge.  Taint is a very steep, rugged uphill trail with a scrambling portion. It is steeper and less maintained than the Flint & Feather, and has more exposure. You must be comfortable scrambling.  

Carrying the 10 essentials is mandatory for all participants. You absolutely will need a headlamp and spare batteries.

Bring: first aid kit, headlamp and spare batteries, winter puffer, appropriate clothing and a rain shell.  Trip will run rain or shine.
