I will take my kids (12 year old twins) with me, we will go at a relaxed pace, and make lots of breaks. We will spend some time at the top to go see bears, and watch sunset.

We will hike the Flint & Feather trail to the top of Grouse Lodge. Plan is to download on the gondola (tickets $20).  Option to hike down only IF you have a second person to hike down with you. Flint & Feather is a steep, rugged uphill trail with a scrambling portion.  It is less maintained than the BCMC for reference.  

Carrying the 10 essentials is mandatory for all participants. You absolutely will need a headlamp and spare batteries.

Bring: first aid kit, headlamp and spare batteries, warm layers.
