Returning to the Squamish Headwaters to complete trail to the Pemberton Icefield. Meet at St David's Church 730am. Drive from Squamish all the way up Squamish River (note: this is NOT in Pemberton!). First two km is previously cleared logging road - may need a bit of clearing. From there into the old growth forest. Trail previously marked from 900m up to 1300m ridgeline. Plan to set up camp near top of this ridge, and figure out best route down to open alpine area before the icefield. Mark this part of route with tape, and then return to Vancouver Sunday evening.
