Let's get some spring skiing in gorgeous sunny weather:)
The Elaho FSR should be drivable all the way and the last spur seems to be empty of snow, from the latest satellite pictures. Let's hope we can drive to 900m!
There is a very long drive from Vancouver, so I might go there the night before and camp by the car. Any AWD car can make it to the last spur, but only 4x4 for the last few km.
Moderate to Fast pace throughout the day(not for slow people that like to take breaks every 5 min..lol) and everybody will participate at breaking the trail.
From carpool perspective 4x4 is mandatory! I can take 3 more people in my car.
Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier(can do black runs in any conditions, including trees) in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:)
