We will have pre-reserved campsites at Driftwood Bay on the shore of Lillooet Lake, about 15 km down the In-Shuk-Ch FSR from the turn-off at the start of the Duffey Lake road. The road to the campsite is well-graded gravel along the shores of Lillooet Lake. We will have powered brush cutters and chainsaws to clear the winter deadfall off the Lizzie trail. There will be lots of scope to run the brush cutters or toss cuttings off the trail. No experience is required. If you know how to run a chainsaw, we will have a couple available for you. You can come for the day, stay a night, or stay for the whole four days. The Lizzie trail consists of about 11 km of logging road to Lizzie Lake, which has become somewhat overgrown with alder. Clearing this trail gives great access to the spectacular alpine terrain around the Lizzie cabin and helps maintain a clear winter trail. Your efforts will be much appreciated and well used. We will meet at the campsite but will try to organize ride-sharing from Vancouver through the planning forum.
