I haven't been there for a while, so I'd like to revisit it. 

From the cat skiing parking lot, the route covers a distance of approximately 16 to 17km with elevation gain of 1200 meters. The trail to the hut can be challenging, so it is important to have experience in backcountry skiing and be in good physical condition.The pace will be moderate, be prepared to spend about 8 to 10 hours on skis to get there. 

It is unlikely to have avalanche en-route to the hut, but AST1 and avi gear are required. 

There are already 23 people registered for the hut (not including us), so be prepared for tent camping. We will share the hut with other people for cooking. 

Note: I am by no means good at skiing, but I have done some backcountry skiing and can manage to get down safely albeit slowly. This trip involves some challenging tree skiing, it shouldn't be your first backcountry skiing trip. Bring $10 in cash for using the hut.
