Ski Uphill from Blackcomb Base 2 to Disease Ridge

This is a ski tour to Disease Ridge from Blackcomb Base 2.  We will ski uphill through the Backcountry Access Corrider using the South Route along Sunset Blvd to the bottom of 7th. Returning through Blackcomb resort area.

Gear required: Your own 10 essentials.

Backcountry ski equipment.

Digital transceiver, Metal Shovel, Probe. 

Headlamp suitable for skiing. 

Review the 10 essentials and bring with you what is appropriate for this activity.

Organizer will bring GPS watch with tracks; GMRS Radios; inReach/Personal Locator Beacon; Basic first aid kit.

4:25am- Attendance and final carpooling plans at West Van meeting location.

6 am- Park at Blackcomb Base 2.
