Plan A (good to moderate visibility, moderate or not-too-bad considerable avalanche rating at Alp).
Skin up Blackcomb either to the base of Excelerator or the base of 7th. Aim for some medium-difficulty runs (black/double black) like Trorey, 9th Hole, Body Bag Bowl. If we aren't happy with the visibility or snowpack stability when we get up there, we can lap the Chuting Gallery or another appropriate plan B.
Expect a fast pace relative to many BCMC trips (I want to skin up to beat the delays from taking the lifts).
Some of the above descents may be dumb options depending on the avalanche conditions, can be varied to suit forecast if windloading on specific aspects is the key part of the main avalanche problem. I prefer to ski trees when visibility is poor, and only want to go on a bigger glacier run if visibility is at least ok. So exact route will vary depending on conditions.
In defiance of local norms, I expect everyone to bring a glacier travel kit (ice axe, harness, setup for a 3:1, rope for group) if we go on a glacier -- I haven't been there before, don't have a good enough sense of the area, haven't seen enough trip reports, and don't blindly trust tracks.
Option to change to Oboe area via Singing Pass if we know we'll be tree skiing and we all like it better than Chuting Gallery.
You should (i) have good cardiovascular fitness, (ii) be an advanced or advanced-intermediate backcountry skier and (iii) be a solid downhill skier, able to confidently and efficiently ski all single black diamond runs in all conditions, and be able to ski most double black diamond runs in most conditions. Notice that I'm aiming for 1500-2000m of vertical in a ~10 hour day with quality skiing, and want to be back around sunset.
I personally find it a bit ridiculous trying to plan a ski tour route more than a couple of days in advance with potentially a storm coming in, but you get the idea. Reach out if you have questions.
Note: I'm open to avoiding lifts entirely if someone wants to save money, or meeting up at the base of 7th if you want to rest your legs on the uphill (so long as you get in line for the gondola early).
