Ski touring to Decker Glacier using Blackcomb lifts

This is a ski tour to Decker Glacier using Blackcomb lifts. Tour to Decker Lake and then climb from the north-east ridge to the shoulder of Decker Mountain. Ski down the Decker Glacier. This trip involves route-finding and glacier travel. Returning through Blackcomb resort area.

Gear required: Your own 10 essentials.

Backcountry ski equipment.

Harness +

Digital transceiver, Metal Shovel, Probe. 

Headlamp suitable for skiing.

Organizer will bring Rad line + crevasse rescue kit, GPS watch with tracks; GMRS Radios; inReach/Personal Locator Beacon; Basic first aid kit.

5:40am- Attendance and final carpooling plans at West Van meeting location.
