A very underrated area with simple but very cute terrain: perfect to build more of your touring legs. This trip is more about the touring part than the actual downhill skiing, so make sure you are prepared for that.

We'll start on the groomed xcountry trails, then start breaking trail in decently mellow terrain, through some valleys and such, leading to a nice peak at 1723m. There are some nice runs from this peak, but due to time constrains, we will do only one run towards the lake below.

Lots of up and downs, so definitely not good for any split-boarders.

On our way back we can drop through some steep terrain and bush, to the main xcountry trail, or we can traceback our track(my preferred option).

Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier(can do black runs in any conditions, including trees, have done at least 10 trips in the backcountry) in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it.

Will be moving at a moderate-fast pace. Not for slow people, sorry.

Shovel, probe and avi beacon

Food and water for the whole day
First aid kit!
Ski Helmet

Headlamp with spare batteries!
