Ski touring to summit Decker Mountain using Blackcomb lifts

This is a ski tour to summit Decker Mountain using Blackcomb lifts. This trip involves route-finding and glacier travel. Returning through Blackcomb resort area.

Gear required: Your own 10 essentials.

Backcountry ski equipment.

Crevasse rescue gear.

Digital transceiver, Metal Shovel, Probe. 

Headlamp suitable for skiing. 

Review the 10 essentials and bring with you what is appropriate for this activity.

Organizer will bring GPS watch with tracks; GMRS Radios; inReach/Personal Locator Beacon; Basic first aid kit.

5:30am- Attendance and final carpooling plans at West Van meeting location.
