Trip for those who have X-mas - New Year break and are disappointed with the skiing conditions. Let's go and have some outdoor fun in best area!

Thursday early morning leave Vancouver and drive up to Duffey Lake area. Hike to Keith's Hut (no reservation needed). Do some more hiking around. Sleep in the hut and on Friday come back to Vancouver with a short hike on the way.

10 km out, 600 m up to the hut.

Shovel, probe and transreceiver required.

Snowshoes and crampons recommended.
