Whistler Alpine Meadows 25km Race: this is an annual event, its a 25km + 1750m elevation gain hike/mountain run that must be completed within 8 hours.  The goal is simply to complete it within the timeframe, so this will be a fast paced (long and steep) hike.  Trail runners welcome to start with the group and go at own pace.  Must meet in Whistler the night before as S2S highway closed on the Saturday morning.  Apres after the event.  

This event always sells out so the plan is to register as soon as it opens (likely January).  Carpooling can be arranged closer to the event date.  If you put your name down, please ensure you plan to register and pay as soon as reg. opens (within next few weeks).  Registration will likely cost around $100.
