This trip is only open to BCMC Mentorship Program participants. Preference will be given to mentees of the organizer (mentor). The organizer can open this trip to other mentees/mentors if needed.
Trip details: Meet at Pemberton tourist centre at 7:15 or meet at KM21 ready to go on skis at 8am. Safety meeting to be done in the cars on the way there.
Gear: Create the list and post this in the planning forum. One of the mentees to come up with list of all items that should be carried on a day trip.
Weather: Various sources: Avalanche Canada, weather stations, Windy, etc. Participants are expected to complete the pre-trip planning form from the "Decision Making in Avalanche Terrain" book. If you don't have the book you can download the sheets from the internet.
