This trip is not suitable for newbies. You have at least 2 years of Backcountry skiing or split boarding, minimum 20+ full days of touring in the last 2 years, and AST2 preferred but not mandatory. You're comfortable leading a safety meeting, lead a companion rescue practice, and can create a route in the area. As a participant of this trip you're expected to be a team leader, not a follower. This trip is moderate/slow-paced, breaking in the season. Not large and in charge. 

Preference to people who potentially want to lead BCMC trips in the future. 

Leave Squamish at 7:30am. Drive to the trailhead, skin, companion rescue practice, skin and ski some lines if possible.
