It's around a 10km hike with 700m elevation gain to a nice viewpoint over the city. Last time I was up there took me 4-1/2 hours moving time (return), just under 6 hours total. We were told by other hikers the peak itself was underwhelming, and also that was in the spring when it was snowy, so we turned around at the viewpoint. Most of the elevation is gained by the viewpoint; if folks are keen we could keep going for a bit to see if those reports are true.
My pace could be described as 'extremely moderate' if that weren't a contradiction in terms, so let's call it 'slow'.
I've usually parked at the Rice Lake parking lot, but parking on the Lynn Headwaters Entrance Parking Lot side of the river instead is also possible if that's much closer for some participants; it doesn't make much difference coming from Vancouver and over the 2nd narrows. We should just make sure everyone meets at the same one (not that that's happened before or anything...), I'll make that call in the planning forum later this week.
