You must make your own reservation for KC Hut (mandatory). Trip is conditional on suitable avalanche conditions for safe travel.

Access via the lift system (note: Symphony Chair will likely be closed) or Singing Pass trail depending on group preferences.  We'll pick ski objectives based on the avalanche conditions.

Moderate pacing, group-first approach to backcountry travel, social hut vibes, big group dinner.

Must be able and willing to be actively contribute to planning, safety meetings, navigation and decision-making, and making an awesome (vegetarian) dinner.

This is serious terrain and many of the slopes in the area avalanche regularly.  You should be willing to make safe decisions appropriate for the conditions.  Exit can be punky with tight trees and can be terrible with early season conditions. Strong intermediate or advanced skiing ability required -- you should be comfortable on black diamond runs in poor and variable conditions.
