Hello folks, lets take advantage of the good weather forecast to bag this Squamish classic. I dont have a car so my plan is to head over to the gondola on Saturday using the squamish connector (leaving at 1:50pm from hyatt regency), and from there we will hike up to our campsite. We will most likely camp halfway between the end of the valley and the glacier as there are some good spots there. On Sunday we get up early and scramble to the top and make it back down again via gondola and then catch the return bus at 3 or 4:50. A car would simplify this a lot. In the days leading up it might freeze up on the glacier so best to bring crampons and ice axe (in my opinion), I myself will bring a short rope to rappel some harder sections so maybe bring a harness as well. Should be a straight forward trip, this route is well known and documented, but prepare for a lot of cardio. Participants should also be somewhat comfortable with exposed scrambling, as there are some, albeit short, exposed class 4/5 sections.
