I don't want to copy Jesse's program entirely (he's going on the 24th), but I've been wanting to get up to Crown and will be away for a while starting on Monday, so gotta get it while it's good. 

Moderate scrambling at the top, minimal exposure, but scrambling experience preferred. 

Take the Grind up (or maybe Flint and Feather if we're all feeling adventurous), and then traverse over to Crown. Take the gondola back down (at least I will be, you don't have to though). 

Going to meet early (say 6:30) at the bottom of Grouse to beat the heat. If we take the Grind then I'd like to do it around the 1 hour mark, so pretty quick pace, but not trail running it. 

Overall elevation gain will likely be over 1600m.

Have 2 non BCMC friends coming, so capping this at 4 to have a group of max 6 which is a bit large, but should be doable for this kind of trail.
