A hidden gem of Fraser Valley. This route requires a high-clearance 4-wheel drive vehicle. I can take 2-3 (depending on if my partner decides to join in), so participant number will increase only if other appropriate vehicles surface (though it will likely stay around 6 - a nice group number that scares away the bears but doesn't become a crowd). This will be a long day and a scramble, so plan accordingly. Think water purification, sunscreen and bug mitigation. It should be snow-free, so I will not bring crampons or an axe, but this could be discussed in the forum as the day gets a little closer. Pace will be moderate to casual, (as I am a slow and steady individual) length is ~16km (elevation 1400m). I've never done this scramble before, and I am always open to suggestions on modifications. Anyway, expect some views and good company.
Check out AllTrails (Mount Lindeman) for more info. As of July 16, someone has climbed it and written a great description, so check it out.
Meeting time and place (as directed on the side panel): 7AM at Chevron on Boundary.
10 essentials, decent hiking footwear, don't forget your headlight.
